Ruger SFAR 6.5 Creedmoor 20” Semi-Auto Rifle – Magpul PRS Lite – Brand New
Brand-new Ruger SFAR chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, featuring a 20-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel, adjustable Magpul PRS Lite stock, free-float M-LOK handguard, Ruger Elite 452 two-stage trigger, adjustable gas system and Ruger muzzle brake.
The Ruger SFAR — Small-Frame Autoloading Rifle — brings full-power rifle-cartridge performance into a platform designed around dimensions much closer to a traditional AR-15 than a conventional large-frame AR-10. For shooters looking for a lightweight, modern semi-automatic 6.5 Creedmoor for long-range shooting, hunting or the range, the SFAR offers an impressive combination of capability and portability.
At the heart of this model is a 20-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:8” RH twist, a combination well suited to the wide variety of 6.5 Creedmoor ammunition available today. The barrel uses a common 5/8”-24 muzzle thread and is equipped with Ruger’s two-port Boomer muzzle brake.
The SFAR uses a 4-position regulated gas block, allowing the rifle’s gas system to be adjusted for different ammunition and operating conditions. Ruger specifically designed the system to accommodate varying conditions, including suppressed and unsuppressed operation when appropriately configured.
The 15-inch free-float aluminum handguard provides M-LOK accessory mounting positions along with a continuous top Picatinny rail for mounting an optic. The upper receiver is machined from a 7075-T6 aluminum forging and incorporates familiar AR-platform features including a forward assist, dust cover, and brass deflector.
This configuration also gets one of its biggest upgrades at the rear: the Magpul PRS Lite stock. It provides adjustable length of pull and comb height, making it particularly well suited to a scoped precision-oriented rifle. Published specifications for the PRS Lite configuration give a length-of-pull adjustment range of approximately 13.37”–14.75”.
Ruger finishes the package with its Elite 452 two-stage trigger, Magpul MOE-K2 grip and a full-length optics rail. The result is a factory-built 6.5 Creedmoor that bridges the gap between a lightweight modern sporting rifle and a dedicated long-range semi-automatic platform.
