Rare Breed Triggers FRT-RD3 AMBI – 3-Position FRT for MP5

The Rare Breed Triggers FRT-RD3 AMBI is a three-position forced reset trigger designed specifically for ambidextrous-style MP5 grip frames, including Navy/pictogram-style housings. This is the AMBI version and will not fit SEF-style grip frames.

Description

The Rare Breed Triggers FRT-RD3 AMBI brings Rare Breed’s forced-reset system to the roller-delayed MP5 platform.

This version is designed specifically for AMBI (ambidextrous) grip frames/housings commonly identified by pictogram-style selector markings and an ambidextrous selector arrangement.

IMPORTANT — AMBI vs. SEF

There are two different versions of the FRT-RD3: AMBI and SEF. They are not interchangeable.

Choose this AMBI version if your firearm uses an ambidextrous/Navy/pictogram-style grip housing.

If your firearm has a traditional SEF-style housing with S-E-F letter markings and a single-sided selector, you need the FRT-RD3 SEF, not this product.

Many MP5-pattern firearms use similar grip housings, but do not select the trigger solely by firearm brand or model. The grip-frame/housing configuration is what determines whether you need AMBI or SEF.

Owners of MKE/AP5, PTR, Zenith and other MP5-pattern firearms should verify their specific grip housing before ordering.
